Bojan Zamurović is the author for the promotional campaign for the 54th festival of documentary and short film (Belgrade, 2007), the oldest film festival of its kind in Europe. The work of Bojan Zamurović “Popcorns Fatten!” (Kokice goje!) was declared the best among more than 30 proposals submitted to the competition open for students of the Faculty of Applied Arts of the University of Arts and the Academy of Arts.

A Word from the Dean


The most exciting moments for me, as a teacher, are the entrance exams when I decide who shall be a student of a new acting class, and the graduation shows where I say my farewells to them. In the former case this is the excitement of meeting new faces and the expectation of seeing signs of talent hiding in them or shouting from the depth of the being of my future students. When I say my farewells to them, it is exciting to watch a new-found confidence and skills they use to bring their roles to life. These two events are tied and therefore every entrance exam is a sort of test I have to pass with success, since every one of my failures to assess can be painful for a person auditioning before me. I share the responsibility I feel with the other teachers in the committee and this is how it is in all classrooms where decisions are made on who shall study acting, directing, dramaturgy, camera, photography, sound design and production in culture.
